Home Manager ("we", "our", or "the app") is operated by Go Developers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Home Manager mobile application.

- Account Information: Your email address and password, used to create and authenticate your account via Firebase Authentication.
- Expense Data: Expense details you enter, including names, amounts, currencies, dates, categories, payment methods, and house associations.
- Settings: Your app preferences such as default currency, custom categories, expense types, and payment method options.
- House Information: House names, membership data, and share codes for household expense sharing.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to provide the app's functionality:
- Authenticate your identity and maintain your account
- Store and display your expense records
- Enable expense sharing between household members
- Sync your data across your devices
- Apply your personalized settings and preferences
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services:
- All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
- Data is encrypted at rest on Firebase servers
- Firebase Authentication handles credential security
- Firestore security rules ensure users can only access their own data and data from households they belong to
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is shared only in the following limited circumstances:
- Household Members: When you join or create a shared house, other members of that house can see expenses added to it. You control which houses you join.
- Firebase/Google: Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure. Google's privacy policy applies to their infrastructure services.
5. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete individual expenses at any time through the app. If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, please contact us at the email below.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data through the app at any time
- Delete individual expense records
- Leave shared households
- Request complete deletion of your account and data
7. Children's Privacy
Home Manager is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase Authentication: For user account management
- Cloud Firestore: For data storage and synchronization
These services are provided by Google and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
